LA TAMALADA - DECEMBER 20, 2021

LAS POSADAS EN EL CAMPO - DECEMBER 22, 2021


Join us for a traditional but unique Las Posadas where we will go from farm to farm in Half Moon Bay to join the farmworkers in this Christmas celebration reenacting Jesus and Mary's journey into Bethlehem. Join us for one or both events at 11am - 1pm and/or 3pm - 5pm where there will be live music, singing and we will be delivering tamales.  Sign up early if you would like to carpool with a fully vaccinated person.

If you are unable to participate but would like to give you can donate below.

Donate a $25 VISA or Amazon Gift Card or $100 Safeway Gift Card.
You can purchase it online for it to be delivered directly to Catholic Charities. Please DO NOT leave the gift cards at the stocking drop-off locations.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR DROP-OFF?

1) Please wash and/or sanitize your hands thoroughly prior to preparing your bags. 

2) All food items must be store bought and individually wrapped by the manufacturer. No homemade food items. 

3) Place all items in a secured clear plastic bag inside the Christmas Stocking or place the entire stocking in a large 2 gallon ziplock or plastic gift bag.

4) Please indicate if the items are best for a boy or girl under 11 (-11) years of age or over 12 (+12) years of age.  If the items are gender neutral just put the age group.
Example: "Girl +12" or "Boy -11"
